曹仲云,男,重庆市人,1952年生,中共党员,中国书法家协会会员;国家特级书法师;国家级非遗艺术大师九级;国务外交礼品师;中央电视台,香港电视台签约艺术家;cctv客座教授;国家非遗艺术大师九级;世界非物质文化遗产研究院副院长;中国翰林书画院院士;中国书法家研究协会副主席;香港书法家协会名誉主席;解放军八一书画院副院长;欧阳中石艺术纪念馆副馆长;台湾书协名誉主席、两岸文化交流形象大使。

文化部行草书法非遗传承人、兰亭字库组委会最佳设计师、央视华夏儿女栏目组授予“华夏儿女——优秀艺术传承之星”荣誉称号;2023年6月:热烈祝贺人民日报创刊75周年,由人大常委会副委员长铁凝主编,登载《党旗下的艺术领袖,书画泰斗》两个版面;

全国人大副委员长铁凝作序,国家版本馆典藏版0018号的《传承经典》中其中一章名为“中国书画文化传承人黄永玉、曹仲云艺术传纪录”。曹仲云的作品由人民大会堂、故宫博物院收藏;欧阳中石、权希军老师健在时,与曹仲云共同出版了《中国书法艺魂三大家》,由中国国际出版社出版发行;2022年12月,由中央政治局委员、外交部长王毅题写《投资中国》书刊,向亚太重点推荐艺术家曹仲云,由中国国际出版社在亚太地区发行。

Cao Zhongyun, male, born in 1952 in Chongqing, is a member of the Chinese Communist Party and a member of the China Calligraphers Association. He is a national special-grade calligrapher, a national-level intangible cultural heritage master (Level 9), and a State Diplomatic Gift Artist. Cao is a contracted artist with China Central Television (CCTV) and Hong Kong Television, a guest professor at CCTV, and the Vice President of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Institute. He is also an academician of the Chinese Hanlin Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, Vice Chairman of the China Calligrapher Research Association, Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Calligraphers Association, Vice President of the PLA August 1st Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and Deputy Director of the Ouyang Zhongshi Art Memorial Hall. Additionally, he serves as Honorary Chairman of the Taiwan Calligraphy Association and Cultural Exchange Ambassador between the Mainland and Taiwan.

Cao is recognized as an inheritor of the cultural heritage of cursive calligraphy by the Ministry of Culture. He was awarded the title of "Outstanding Art Heritage Star" by the CCTV Huaxia Children program, and he is a top designer for the Lanting Font Library Organizing Committee. In June 2023, the 75th anniversary of People's Daily was celebrated with a special publication edited by the Vice Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Tie Ning, featuring Cao Zhongyun's work in Art Leaders Under the Party's Banner, Calligraphy and Painting Masters. One chapter of the national version library's Inheritance of Classics, collection number 0018, is dedicated to Cultural Heritage Artists of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy: Huang Yongyu and Cao Zhongyun.

Cao Zhongyun's works have been collected by the Great Hall of the People and the Palace Museum. He co-published The Three Masters of Chinese Calligraphy with Ouyang Zhongshi and Quan Xijun, released by China International Press. In December 2022, China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi wrote the inscription for Invest in China, a book recommending key artists from the Asia-Pacific region, including Cao Zhongyun. The book was published by China International Press and distributed in the Asia-Pacific region.

Cao has been awarded the "Lifetime Achievement Award for Chinese Calligraphy and Painting" by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the title of "World-Class Contemporary Artist" by the China Art Masters Exchange Center Organizing Committee. In 2023, UNESCO and other organizations honored him as one of the "Top Ten Global Figures of the Year." Since 2024, he has won prestigious awards, including the Nobel Prize, the Hundred Flowers Award, and first prize in the national "Lanting Cup" online calligraphy and painting competition. To celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year becoming an official United Nations holiday, Cao was honored as one of the "Four Heavenly Kings of Chinese Cultural Heritage" by the UN. His achievements have been reported by media outlets such as China Media in the feature Cao Zhongyun: One of the Eight Most Influential Modern Artists, and CCTV's Morning News broadcast his work in Understanding the Charm of Art: An Exhibition of Cao Zhongyun's Masterpieces.

Cao also co-authored Ink and Color: Cross-Strait Sentiments with former Taiwan leader Ma Ying-jeou, published by the China Commerce Press. His works were selected for *、The Five Calligraphy and Painting Generals of the Sino-Russian Cultural Exchange Year, released by the World Culture and Art Press, and he contributed to a collaborative work celebrating the 60th anniversary of China's successful atomic bomb detonation, titled A Tribute from Four Talented Scholars*. CCTV's Voice of China recognized him as a "Master of Art" and the International News Network reported on him as a "Modern Saint of Calligraphy."
