During the 4th Belt and Road International Going-Global Cooperation Forum (Beijing Session), Ms. Liu Shuang, World Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) International Communication Ambassador and President of Beijing Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance and Communication Working Committee (BICHDWC), held in-depth exchanges with Ms. DACKOBO BLANCHE, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of the Central African Republic in China, at the core session "Ambassador's Living Room – Face-to-Face with Going-Global Industry Ambassadors". The two sides reached consensus on issues such as the international communication of China-Central Africa ICH and cultural-tourism industry cooperation, and took a group photo, writing a vivid footnote to the mutual learning between Chinese and Central African civilizations.
With the theme of "Silk Road Harmony · Inclusive Win-Win", this forum built a high-end platform for cultural exchanges and industrial docking among various countries. As a leader in the field of international communication of Chinese ICH, President Liu Shuang systematically introduced the cultural connotation and communication achievements of ICH skills such as Beijing Tea Petal Painting to Counselor DACKOBO. She stated that both China and the Central African Republic have profound cultural heritage and rich ICH resources. She expressed expectations to take the opportunity of the Belt and Road construction to promote practical cooperation between China and the Central African Republic in areas such as ICH protection and industrial development, so that more excellent cultural achievements can benefit the people of both countries. The two sides also exchanged views on details such as the market-oriented promotion of ICH skills and the planning of international exchange activities, laying a solid foundation for subsequent cooperation.
This interaction is not only an important epitome of China-Central Africa cultural exchanges, but also highlights the vigorous vitality of civilization mutual learning under the Belt and Road Initiative. In the future, President Liu Shuang will continue to lead the Beijing Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance and Communication Working Committee to deepen cultural cooperation with African countries, promote more excellent Chinese ICH skills to enter Africa, and at the same time introduce outstanding African cultural resources, constructing a new pattern of international cultural exchanges featuring two-way mutual learning and win-win development.
